Sharwanand’s upcoming film George Krish has unveiled its First Booster, offering a lively introduction to a character with two contrasting sides. Released on September 24 to mark director Sreenu Vaitla’s birthday, the glimpse puts Sharwa’s comic expressions at the centre of a story designed as a family entertainer. The film is scheduled to reach cinemas on January 14, 2027, during the Sankranti season.

The First Booster introduces George as a Christian and Krish as a Hindu. Sharwa is seen immersed in devotion in both settings, but the different situations give each appearance a playful tone. The glimpse uses those contrasts to raise curiosity about how the two sides of his character fit into the story, without spelling out the plot.
Sharwa appears in multiple looks, including a polished corporate style. His changing appearance and animated reactions give the short promo much of its energy. Manasa Varanasi, who plays the female lead, also features in the glimpse, which offers a brief look at the lead pair’s romance. Her casting brings a new screen pairing to Sharwa’s first film with Vaitla.
Sreenu Vaitla brings comedy to a new setting
George Krish marks the first collaboration between Sharwanand and Sreenu Vaitla. The director appears to be placing his familiar comedy style in a different setting, using the character’s contrasting identities to create humorous situations. The First Booster sets an upbeat mood, though it leaves the larger story and the reason behind George and Krish’s different lives for later promotions.
KV Guhan handles the cinematography, while Anup Rubens provides the music heard in the promo.
