Salman Khan’s upcoming film Monster is generating trade interest months before its planned Eid 2027 theatrical release. A report published on September 24 claims that PVR INOX has acquired the film’s all-India distribution rights for around ₹100 crore. The reported agreement would be a substantial pre-release deal for the Vamshi Paidipally directorial, which is currently in production. Neither the makers nor PVR INOX had officially announced the deal in the reports available at publication.
Monster’s reported ₹100 crore deal explained
Bollywood Hungama, which first reported the development, says the agreement is structured as a refundable advance. That detail matters: the ₹100 crore figure refers to a reported arrangement for Indian theatrical distribution rights. It is not an advance booking total or money the film has already earned at the box office. The publication’s sources say PVR INOX expects to plan a wide release for Monster over the Eid 2027 weekend.
The reported deal reflects confidence in Salman’s theatrical draw, but the film’s eventual returns will depend on its release and audience response. For now, the terms remain based on unnamed sources. An official statement from the distributor or production team would provide firmer confirmation of the value and structure of the agreement.
Salman’s new look and October shoot plans
Monster is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and backed by producer Dil Raju. It brings Salman Khan and Nayanthara together on screen, while Arvind Swamy has an important role. Reports also suggest that Salman will appear in multiple looks, offering a different presentation of the star in the action entertainer. Those character details have yet to be shown in an official teaser.
Production is underway, and an overseas shooting schedule is reportedly planned for October. The Eid 2027 window gives the team a prominent holiday period for its theatrical rollout, although a specific release date should be taken from a formal announcement when one is made. As filming continues, the next major updates will be confirmation of the distribution deal, a first look at Salman’s character and a clearer release plan.
