Jailer 2 OTT Premiere On Prime Video

Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 will begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video on November 12, 2026. The sequel opened in cinemas on October 15, giving it a 28-day window between its theatrical debut and streaming premiere. The film has grossed more than ₹800 crore worldwide and performed strongly in the Telugu states and overseas.

Jailer 2 OTT Timing And Diwali Shows

Some theatre owners kept Jailer 2 on their screens even as new Diwali releases arrived, expecting families to turn up over the festive period. With the Prime Video premiere following closely, viewers who have yet to see the film may wait a few days to watch it at home. How much that affects ticket sales will depend on how many moviegoers still opt for the big-screen experience.

Jailer 2 OTT Cut And Mohanlal Scenes

There is speculation that the streaming version could restore deleted scenes featuring Mohanlal. The makers have yet to confirm whether the Prime Video cut will include extra footage. The sequel brings back actors from the first film and adds Hrithik Roshan, SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Vidya Balan and Mithun Chakraborty. Nelson Dilipkumar directed the film for Sun Pictures, with music by Anirudh Ravichander. The open ending leaves room for a possible Jailer 3.
