Movie Description

The Carpenter’s Son transports viewers to a remote village in Roman-occupied Egypt, where a carpenter (portrayed by Nicolas Cage), his wife (FKA Twigs) and their son (Noah Jupe) find themselves drawn into a battle between the divine and the demonic. The young boy begins to display mysterious powers and becomes the target of supernatural forces inspired by the apocryphal text known as the Infancy Gospel of Thomas. With a brooding atmosphere, unsettling visuals and a theology-tinged horror core, the film examines faith, power and family under siege.
