Set in the fictional village of Mangalpur, Bhooth Bangla follows a family that unknowingly steps into a cursed palace tied to a dark folklore about a demon who abducts newlywed brides. Apart from one or two tracks like “Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge,” the music fails to leave an impact. The background score is overly loud, often substituting noise for genuine tension.

Editing

Editing is one of the biggest drawbacks. The film feels stretched, especially in the second half, with excessive explanations and unnecessary flashbacks slowing down the pace.

The storytelling becomes tedious as it over-explains every detail, leaving little room for audience engagement. Ultimately, it feels like a missed opportunity that tries to recreate past successes but ends up outdated.
