Join Senior Tech Connect for a free, one-hour session designed to help seniors explore Uber’s newest features with confidence. Whether you already use Uber or are trying it for the first time, this session will guide you through the updated senior experience step by step and show you how to choose the options that best fit your needs.
Learn how senior accounts can keep ride preferences organized, while Simple Mode offers larger text, clearer icons and an easier-to-use app experience. The session will also explain Easy Entry Vehicles, which may offer cars that are lower to the ground and easier to enter and exit, as well as Pickup Preferences that let riders share preferred communication instructions with drivers.
Participants can also learn about Family Profiles, which allow relatives to help coordinate rides while seniors maintain their independence. For those who prefer not to use an app, the session will cover how to request an Uber by phone.
