The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services said it was coordinating with local authorities to evaluate possible effects from the earthquake.

Gov. Gavin Newsom was briefed on the situation, according to his office. State and local officials continued inspecting areas near Redwood Valley for structural damage, utility disruptions and other potential hazards.
