Dr Ajay Swaroop, Chairman of the Board of Management, shared that the hospital has ensured the availability of adequate ICU beds, essential emergency medications, and a stable supply of blood to meet any potential surge in patient intake. A dedicated team of surgeons has been identified and kept on standby, while the nursing and paramedical staff have been fully briefed and are ready to respond at short notice.
Additionally, internal security at the hospital has been tightened. Frisking protocols will be implemented if required, and all hospital personnel, including visiting medical staff, have been instructed to carry valid identification cards at all times. These measures come as part of a wider initiative to strengthen national preparedness in medical infrastructure during heightened border tensions. The hospital’s proactive approach reflects the broader efforts within the healthcare system to support any civilian or military needs during this sensitive period.
