HOUSTON — This Veterans Day, restaurants and businesses across Houston are honoring service members with free meals, discounts, and special offers. From breakfast to dinner, veterans and active-duty personnel can enjoy a range of complimentary dishes and reduced-price dining experiences as a gesture of appreciation for their service to the nation.
Texas Roadhouse is offering free meal vouchers to veterans and active-duty military on Tuesday, November 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at all Houston-area locations. Proof of service is required to receive the voucher, which can be redeemed through May 31, 2026, for one of ten entrées, including the popular six-ounce sirloin with two sides and a drink.
Mo’ Brunch + Brews is serving free short stacks of pancakes with coffee throughout the day, while Golden Corral continues its 25-year tradition of Military Appreciation Night by providing a complimentary dinner buffet and beverage to service members from 4 p.m. until closing.
At The Original Ninfa’s in Uptown and Navigation, veterans receive 50% off their entire bill on Veterans Day and every day of the year. Similarly, Pizaro’s Pizza is extending a 10% discount year-round to all veterans who present valid identification.
Other notable restaurants are joining in the tribute. Willie’s Grill & Icehouse is offering a free Bacon Willie burger with a side, and Axelrad is giving 20% off all tabs for veterans and active-duty military. Azumi in River Oaks District will provide 50% off entrées, while Kazzan Ramen & Bar in The Heights will do the same, giving veterans half-off any dish from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Torchy’s Tacos is offering a free taco and drink, and Good God, Nadine’s invites service members to enjoy a complimentary Skillet Cornbread in flavors like Jalapeño Cheddar with salted lime honey. At Bubba’s 33, veterans can choose one of six free entrées, while Lazy Dog Restaurant is giving away its signature Fireside Favorite entrée and dessert to all veterans, including those retired or in reserve duty.
Twin Peaks is serving a complimentary lunch between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and Whataburger extends its gratitude with free Taquitos every Tuesday through December 30, along with year-round free coffee for military personnel.
Bread Zeppelin, Comfort Foodies, and Grimaldi’s Pizzeria are each showing support with discounts and free menu items, while Logan’s Roadhouse continues to pair its free lunch offer with ongoing donations to K9s For Warriors. Fielding’s Wood Grill, The Savoy, Pizza Inn, Taste Kitchen + Bar, and La Madeleine are all offering free or discounted meals for dine-in guests with valid military ID.
For veterans looking beyond restaurants, Jiffy Lube is providing 50% off oil changes and 25% off other services at 61 Houston-area locations, while Starbucks is giving away free tall coffees to veterans, active-duty personnel, and their spouses. Starbucks will also donate $200,000 to the USO and Wounded Warrior Project to support military families nationwide.
P.F. Chang’s joins the list with free dine-in lunches, and Daiquiri Land is offering a 25% discount on all purchases for veterans. Raising Cane’s will match customer donations up to $250,000 for the Gary Sinise Foundation, continuing its year-round Hero Discount program for first responders and military families.
