Jeff's Donuts expands to Ohio with $2.50 scratch-made donuts all day, every day

Jeff’s Donuts, a 24-hour donut shop known for its scratch-made menu, is preparing to launch its first Ohio location in the Columbus region. The company has confirmed that the new store will open at 5717 North Hamilton Road in the Trouville neighborhood, situated just north of Gahanna, with an anticipated debut in early 2026. The expansion marks a significant moment for the brand as it steps into the Ohio market with what will become its first franchised location.

The upcoming store will be operated by local franchisees Shelia and Jeff Runke, who expressed strong confidence in how the concept will resonate with customers in central Ohio. According to the pair, the round-the-clock service and emphasis on freshness set the business apart, and they believe the Columbus area is ready for a shop that prepares each donut by hand throughout the day. They noted that the quality, size, and flavor of the products create a noticeable difference that encourages repeat visits, and they look forward to building a customer base within the community.

Founded in Indiana in 2004, Jeff’s Donuts has grown steadily over two decades, developing a reputation for offering a wide range of generous, scratch-made pastries. The company currently operates seven locations, including its original Indiana shop and six others across Kentucky. Its expansion into Ohio reflects continued interest in the brand’s menu and its commitment to producing donuts without shortcuts.

The store will serve more than 40 varieties of donuts daily, with offerings that include classic glazed selections, jelly-filled favorites, and specialty long johns in flavors such as chocolate, vanilla iced coconut, and strawberry cream. Guests can also expect fritters and the brand’s signature item known as the “Honeymooner,” described as an inside-out filled donut that features icing topped with a dollop of flavors such as cream cheese or peanut butter. All donuts are priced at $2.50, consistent with the brand’s existing locations.

In addition to its dine-in and carryout options, the Columbus-area shop will offer pickup, delivery, and catering services, extending its accessibility to customers throughout the day and night. With its nonstop operating schedule and emphasis on handmade quality, the business aims to serve both early-morning commuters and late-night visitors who are looking for fresh, substantial treats.

As preparations continue, Jeff’s Donuts views the new location as an important step in its broader growth strategy. The company expects that its commitment to freshness and variety, combined with the consistent availability of its products, will attract donut enthusiasts from across the region. The early 2026 opening will officially introduce the brand to Ohio, giving Gahanna-area residents a new destination for 24-hour scratch-made pastries.
