Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan made strong and clear remarks on the state’s political future, stating that the NDA alliance must continue in power for at least the next 15 years to ensure long-term stability. Addressing the current political climate, he issued a firm warning to the opposition YSR Congress and its leadership, asserting that unstable governance should not be allowed to return to the state.
Kalyan explained that his call for prolonged NDA governance is rooted in the need to stabilise Andhra Pradesh politically and economically. According to him, only sustained and consistent governance can repair systems that were weakened in the past and bring administration back on track. He emphasized that once stability is firmly established, discussions about alternative political possibilities can even be considered.
The Deputy Chief Minister highlighted that while seat-sharing arrangements and alliance dynamics may fluctuate over time, the overarching priority must always remain the welfare of Andhra Pradesh. He reiterated that personal or party-level gains should never overshadow the larger interests of the state. Kalyan stated that he is prepared to make any sacrifice required to safeguard Andhra Pradesh’s future and ensure effective governance.
Referring to his party’s earlier decisions, Kalyan pointed out that Jana Sena’s sacrifice of 21 assembly seats was a strategic move that opened long-term opportunities for the state. He said this decision has already contributed to improved infrastructure planning, stronger financial discipline, and more accountable governance. According to him, these outcomes would not have been possible without political maturity and compromise.
Despite his aggressive stance against the opposition, Kalyan maintained a measured tone while addressing broader systemic issues. He stressed the urgent need for educated and capable youth to enter mainstream politics. He noted that meaningful political reform can only occur when talented individuals actively participate and challenge outdated practices from within the system.
Kalyan concluded by asserting that Andhra Pradesh is at a crucial crossroads. He urged citizens to look beyond short-term political narratives and focus on long-term development, governance quality, and institutional stability. His remarks have sparked renewed debate across political circles, reinforcing the NDA alliance’s message of continuity, sacrifice, and reform-driven leadership in the state.
