YouTuber Adam the Woo, a well-known travel and theme park content creator, has died at the age of 51 after being found unresponsive at his home in Celebration, Florida, authorities confirmed. The creator, whose legal name was David Adam Williams, was pronounced dead on Monday, Dec. 22, at his residence in the Orlando-area suburb.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, deputies initially responded to Williams’ home earlier in the day for a well-being check. At that time, the residence was secured and officers were unable to make contact. Less than three hours later, authorities returned to the location following a report of an unattended death.
Officials stated that a friend of Williams had become concerned after being unable to reach him. The friend reportedly borrowed a ladder to look through a third-story window, where Williams was seen lying on a bed and not moving. Emergency responders entered the home alongside fire rescue personnel, at which point Williams was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities noted that the friend had last seen Williams on Sunday.
The sheriff’s office confirmed that an investigation is ongoing and that the medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Williams’ father has been notified, officials said. No foul play has been announced at this stage.
News of the YouTuber’s death prompted an outpouring of tributes from friends, fellow creators, and longtime viewers across social media platforms. Many described Williams as a kind and generous individual whose off-camera personality reflected warmth and sincerity.
Fellow content creator Justin Scarred shared a tribute expressing deep personal loss, describing Williams as a close friend with a compassionate nature that viewers rarely saw behind the scenes. He said the death appeared to have been peaceful and natural, adding that further information would likely come from Williams’ family in due course.
Another friend, Chris Yon, said he had spent time with Williams just days before his death. Yon recalled riding through town together, discussing recent international travel, future plans for the YouTube channel, and upcoming events Williams was looking forward to. He described the news as shocking and difficult to process.
