Tucker Genal, a social media content creator known for his comedy skits, challenges, and collaborative videos on TikTok, has died at the age of 31, according to authorities in Los Angeles County.
The County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner stated that Genal died by suicide at his residence on Thursday, December 11, 2025. No further details were disclosed by officials.
Genal’s death was confirmed publicly by his brothers, Carson and Connor, through a joint message shared on Instagram several days later. In their statement, the brothers requested privacy as their family mourns the loss and expressed appreciation for the support and understanding shown by friends, followers, and members of the public.
The message reflected on the close relationship the siblings shared, describing Genal as a supportive and compassionate presence throughout their lives. The post included a series of family photographs from different stages of their upbringing, highlighting the personal nature of the loss. The brothers noted that their family is facing a difficult period as they begin to adjust to life without him.
Genal had established a significant presence on social media, with nearly three million followers on TikTok and more than 340,000 followers on Instagram at the time of his death. His content often featured friends and family members and focused on lighthearted, collaborative performances that attracted a broad international audience. He was also associated with the Hustle House TikTok collective, which gained more than one million followers through group-based content.
Before gaining widespread recognition online, Genal studied business administration and management at Furman University, according to published reports. He later worked as a social media coordinator for sneaker artist Kickasso, combining marketing experience with digital content creation before transitioning to a full-time role as a creator.
Following confirmation of his death, tributes were shared by fellow content creators and friends. Sean Schutt, a social media creator who knew Genal personally, posted a message recalling the encouragement and support Genal offered during a challenging period in his life. Schutt described him as generous and attentive to the well-being of others.
