A Southall stabbing that killed 26-year-old Gurbhej Singh has prompted a Metropolitan Police murder investigation and an appeal for witnesses and CCTV footage.
Singh suffered a fatal stab wound on North Road, near the junction with Dormers Wells Lane in west London. Police believe the attack happened outside a shop at about 12:30 a.m. British Summer Time. The source material did not provide the calendar date.

The London Ambulance Service alerted police at about 12:40 a.m. Officers and paramedics attended, but Singh was pronounced dead at the scene.
Specialist officers are supporting his family while homicide detectives investigate what led to the attack.
A second man, believed to be in his 30s, was also injured. He was taken to a hospital and later discharged.
Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell of the Metropolitan Police Specialist Crime Command urged anyone who was in the area to contact investigators.
Police are also seeking footage from residents, businesses and drivers covering North Road and the junction with Dormers Wells Lane.
Seven Men Arrested in Murder Inquiry
Seven men, ranging from their early 20s to their late 30s, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.
Six were later released with no further action. One man was released on bail and is expected to return to a police station at a later date.
The investigation remains active as detectives work to establish the circumstances of Singh’s death and identify additional witnesses or recordings. Information from people who were near North Road could help investigators determine how the fatal attack unfolded.
