UMusic Hotel Austin Announced With 600 Private Residences

UMusic Hotel Austin has been announced as a 71-acre hospitality, residential and entertainment development in the Texas Hill Country near Austin. The project is planned to include 150 hotel rooms, 600 branded residences and White Rocks Amphitheater, while preserving more than 70% of the site as green space.

As of Monday, June 22, 2026, no opening date had been announced. White Rocks is identified as the owner and developer, while UMusic Hospitality & Lifestyle is designated as the hotel operator.

UMusic Hotel Austin Combines Hospitality and Entertainment

The development is designed as a music-focused destination rather than a conventional luxury hotel. Planned facilities include an indoor performance venue, professional recording studios, content-production spaces, destination restaurants, a nightclub, a comedy club and social gathering areas.

Guests and residents are also expected to have access to spa facilities, fitness centers, resort-style pools, outdoor recreation areas and wellness programs.

White Rocks Amphitheater Anchors the Project

White Rocks Amphitheater is planned as the centerpiece of the development. The outdoor venue is intended to host concerts and cultural events while using the surrounding Texas Hill Country landscape as part of the visitor experience.

Austin’s major festivals and live-event economy provide the wider tourism foundation for entertainment-focused developments such as UMusic Hotel Austin.

The amphitheater, hotel and production facilities would allow visitors to stay, attend performances and use music-related creative spaces within one integrated destination.

600 Branded Residences Mark a UMusic First

The project will introduce UMusic’s first private residential offering. The 600 branded residences are planned to combine private ownership with access to hotel services, entertainment venues, private pools, fitness facilities, secure underground parking and shared community spaces.

Texas Hill Country Site Prioritizes Green Space

The development will occupy a 71-acre site overlooking more than 10,000 acres of protected Texas Hill Country landscape. More than 70% of the project site is planned to remain open green space, with the natural topography incorporated into the design.

By combining a hotel, private residences, performance venues and production facilities, UMusic Hotel Austin could add a new large-scale destination to Austin’s hospitality and music-tourism market. Its ultimate impact will depend on the construction timeline, opening date and final delivery of the announced facilities.
