Harvest Pizzeria plans to open restaurants in New Albany and Hilliard, adding two communities to its central Ohio network. The company has not provided a calendar year or exact opening dates for either location.

Harvest Pizzeria expansion reaches New Albany first

The New Albany restaurant is planned for 24 E. Main St., the former home of 24 Main, a bar and restaurant that closed in 2025. Harvest said the location is expected to open in the fall, although the available information does not identify the year.

The property, which previously served as a residence, is near Eagles Villa Pizza. Harvest said the businesses offer different menus, pizza styles and dining experiences and expressed support for its future neighbor.

Hilliard restaurant will follow

Harvest also plans to open at 3987 Main St. in Hilliard, taking over the former Legacy Smokehouse property. Legacy Smokehouse closed in May, citing business and personal circumstances. Harvest said the Hilliard opening will follow the New Albany launch but did not announce a date.

Like the New Albany site, the Hilliard property was once a residential home, continuing the company’s use of neighborhood-scale buildings.

Central Ohio roots and local ingredients

Harvest Pizzeria was founded in Columbus’ German Village neighborhood in 2011. Co-founder Chris Crader said the original location closed in April 2019 because of lease-related issues.

The company currently operates restaurants in Bexley, the Brewery District, Clintonville, Dublin and Granville. It says it works with 15 central Ohio farms and food businesses, including Granville Bread Company, Three Creeks Produce in Groveport and Snowville Creamery in Pomeroy.

The two planned restaurants would extend Harvest’s footprint while bringing new dining uses to established Main Street properties in New Albany and Hilliard.
