Fire officials and school administrators are warning of the serious consequences that come with this trend, which is spreading through online platforms. Dan Adams, a representative of LCPS, emphasized that what students may view as a harmless prank could lead to severe outcomes, stating, “Kids can see this as just a joke or harmless prank, but this is something that could lead to a really dangerous situation and just want to keep our kids safe.”
