Mumbai's relentless monsoon rains have once again caused widespread chaos across the city, with severe waterlogging and flooding affecting even the city's elite. One of the most shocking incidents during the current downpour was the flooding of veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan’s iconic Juhu residence, Prateeksha.

A viral video has surfaced showing the premises of the actor's bungalow submerged in ankle-deep water, with rainwater seeping into the property. The video, shot by an onlooker, shows the waterlogged stretch outside Prateeksha, and the person filming remarks, "Look how much water has accumulated here." The clip further mentions that Amitabh Bachchan himself stepped outside with a wiper to clear the water from the premises.

Mumbai's Celebrity Homes Hit by Floods

The video also takes a glimpse at other celebrity homes, including those of Ajay Devgn and Kajol, Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji, and the Deol family, all of which were reportedly flooded due to the relentless rains. The influencer filming the video highlighted that despite immense wealth, even prominent figures like Bachchan and Ambani cannot escape the havoc caused by the Mumbai rains. As the monsoon rains continue to batter the city, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a red warning, forecasting moderate to intense spells of rain throughout the day. The heavy rains have already resulted in one death and three injuries across Mumbai.
