CBSE Class 10 Second Board Results 2026 have been declared, with nearly 60% of score-improvement candidates raising their marks. The combined pass percentage from the main and second examinations has reached 96.78%.

CBSE Class 10 Second Board Results 2026 Declared

The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the CBSE Class 10 Second Board Results 2026. Introduced under the National Education Policy 2020, the second examination gave students another opportunity to improve their marks or clear subjects in which they had been placed in the compartment category. Students can access their digital marksheets and certificates through DigiLocker.

Nearly 60% of Students Improve Scores

The second board examination was held from May 15 to May 21, 2026, after the main examinations conducted between February 17 and March 11. CBSE said 6,64,027 students registered and 6,63,777 appeared. Among the 5,13,955 candidates seeking score improvement, 3,08,095 students improved their performance, representing 59.95%.

Compartment Pass Percentage Rises

A total of 1,49,822 compartment candidates appeared for the second examination, and 78,503 passed. This placed the compartment pass percentage at 52.40%, compared with 48.68% in the previous year. After combining the main and second board results, the overall CBSE Class 10 pass percentage for 2026 reached 96.78%.

How Students Can Check Their Results

Students can check the CBSE Class 10 second exam results and download digital academic documents from the DigiLocker Results Portal. Regular students will receive printed marksheets and passing certificates through their schools. Private candidates can obtain digital documents online, while printed copies will be sent to their registered addresses. Students enrolled in CBSE-affiliated schools abroad can also access their results through DigiLocker.
