In a much-anticipated reunion that has comedy lovers buzzing, Navjot Singh Sidhu is set to return to the stage with Kapil Sharma in season 3 of The Great Indian Kapil Show. Streaming giant Netflix officially announced Sidhu’s comeback on June 9, confirming that both Sidhu and Archana Puran Singh will appear together in the upcoming season.
“Ek kursi paaji ke liye please,” read the Netflix India Instagram post, teasing the return of Sidhu’s signature laughter and poetic one-liners. The show premieres June 21 at 8 PM and promises a bigger, bolder season packed with comedy, shayari, and nostalgia.
Sidhu, who had earlier appeared on Comedy Nights with Kapil, The Kapil Sharma Show, and Family Time With Kapil Sharma, was last seen in the show before being replaced by Archana in 2019 due to political commitments. Now, with both personalities returning, fans can expect a blend of old-school comedy and fresh dynamics.
Calling it a “homecoming,” Sidhu expressed gratitude for the overwhelming love from fans. “Coming to The Great Indian Kapil Show feels like I’m coming home again. It’s a home run. We heard the voice of the people so many fans who loved our interactions—and we are back to bloom together this season,” he said in a statement.
