Bathukamma 2025, the vibrant floral festival of Telangana, was celebrated in grand style at Ramjas College Grounds, Delhi University. Organized by the Telugu Students’ Association (TSA), the event drew over 4,000 attendees, bringing together students, families, and cultural enthusiasts to honour Telangana’s heritage during the Dussehra season.

The celebration was graced by Delhi’s Hon’ble Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta and entrepreneur-philanthropist Upasana Konidela as Guest of Honour. Upasana lit the ceremonial lamp alongside CM Rekha Gupta and emphasized the role of Bathukamma in showcasing the strength and creativity of women. She called the festival a symbol of womanhood, resilience, and community, resonating with the festive spirit of triumph and joy.

The program included colourful cultural performances, Bathukamma rituals, and festive prayers that filled the venue with vibrancy and devotion. TSA leaders Vivek Reddy and Karthik Reddy led the organizing efforts, ensuring the celebration highlighted the inclusivity of Delhi while embracing Telugu traditions.

Upasana was felicitated with a shawl and a Telangana memento, acknowledging her role as a cultural ambassador. She expressed gratitude to CM Rekha Gupta for honouring Telangana culture and inspiring inclusivity across India. The event reinforced TSA Delhi’s mission of nurturing pride and unity among Telugu youth, making Bathukamma 2025 a memorable milestone in the cultural calendar of the capital city.
