Singer Mika Singh shared a surprising story on Kaun Banega Crorepati 18, revealing how Daler Mehndi once convinced him that Amitabh Bachchan was replying to his messages. What Mika thought was a personal exchange with his idol turned out to be a prank that lasted months.

Mika, who appeared on the quiz show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, said the experience was especially memorable because he had admired the actor for years.

Mika Singh's First Meeting With Amitabh Bachchan

Looking back at his early career, Mika recalled meeting Bachchan during the shoot of Daler Mehndi's song Na Na Na Na Re. He was a young musician at the time and remembered the excitement of having the star sit beside him. Mika said he still has a photograph from that day.

That shoot also gave Daler a chance to tease him. When food arrived for the crew, Daler told Mika it had come from Jaya Bachchan. Mika believed the story and enjoyed the meal, only to learn later that it was regular on-set catering.

Years later, Mika obtained a number he believed belonged to Amitabh Bachchan. He began sending messages and links to his songs, hoping for a response. After six months, a single-word reply arrived: "Good."

Mika was thrilled. He recalled jumping on his bed and rushing to tell Daler about the message. Daler then offered to arrange a phone call, and Mika believed he had spoken directly to Bachchan.
