Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay and actor Trisha Krishnan attended the wedding reception of YS Anil Reddy’s daughter, Shreya, at The Leela Palace in Chennai on Thursday. Videos from the reception show the two walking up to the stage to congratulate Shreya and Ujjwal and posing with the newlyweds. Anil Reddy is a cousin of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Vijay wore a brown suit with a white shirt, while Trisha chose a blush-pink saree. Vijay’s mother, Shobha Chandrashekhar, also attended the reception. Vijay and Trisha have shared the screen in several Tamil films, including Leo. Their Chennai appearance followed earlier public outings this year, including Vijay’s swearing-in ceremony in May.

Industrialist Gautam Adani and Bharat Rashtra Samithi working president KT Rama Rao attended the celebrations, along with Rama Rao’s wife, Shailima.
