Houston is bursting with energy and unity as Pride 2025 brings an entire week of celebration, visibility, and entertainment to the city’s LGBTQ+ community and allies. With events ranging from inclusive wedding ceremonies to drag brunches, fashion shows, live music, cultural screenings, and late-night dance parties, Pride Month in Houston promises something for everyone.
Festivities begin on June 21 with the glamorous Queen Brunch at Chapman & Kirby, where guests can enjoy a drag show, brunch buffet, and cocktails. The same day features two marriage equality events: a heartfelt free group wedding ceremony at First Christian Church in Katy and a community celebration at The Montrose Center, commemorating 10 years of marriage equality. That evening, the Houston Pride Band performs at MATCH, delivering a genre-spanning musical showcase.
On June 22, the 7th Annual Pride Brunch at The Heights Social will spotlight Mistress Isabelle Brooks, a star of RuPaul’s Drag Race, with entertainment, food, and cocktails in a vibrant social setting.
The celebration continues on June 25 with Rock the Runway at Warehouse Live, a fashion event featuring LGBTQ+ designers and models. Free for the first 100 RSVPs, the show also offers VIP access with exclusive perks. On June 26, events include a screening of the Israeli documentary “The Holy Closet” hosted by Keshet Houston and the Montrose Center, and a Pride Happy Hour at the Moody Center for the Arts with DJ sets, performances, and gallery access. That evening, Katy Pride marks its second anniversary with a free community event.
June 27 focuses on diverse celebrations: the Pride Dance Bash at 6818 Shadyvilla Lane invites all for music and community bonding; the Trans Community Celebration at Social Beer Garden HTX features live music, DJ sets, and tributes to trans resilience; and Rainbow on the Green lights up Discovery Green with an 80s-themed concert led by Pride Chorus Houston.
The main event arrives on June 28 with the Pride Houston 365 Festival & Parade, one of the largest nighttime Pride parades in the country. From 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., downtown Houston transforms into a hub of LGBTQ+ celebration with live performances, vendors, and community pride centered around City Hall. Tens of thousands are expected to attend, and early arrival is highly recommended.
The festivities culminate with two major after-parties: the Official Houston Pride After-Party at Rich’s, headlined by international DJ Danny Verde, and Texas Pride ’25 at POST Houston, where DJs Alex Ramos and Rick Braile will keep the energy high until 3 a.m.
With more than a dozen events covering music, marriage, community, fashion, and nightlife, Houston Pride 2025 showcases the city’s spirit of inclusion, resilience, and celebration. It’s a week of honoring the past, celebrating the present, and empowering the future of LGBTQ+ Houstonians and visitors alike.
