Chiranjeevi Stops Mega Fans From Filing 300 Complaints Against Balakrishna

The recent controversy between Tollywood stalwarts Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna has become a major talking point across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and social media platforms. Hindupur MLA Balakrishna made objectionable remarks in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly while mentioning Chiranjeevi, triggering anger among Mega fans and drawing widespread media attention. The uproar quickly spread online, leading to heated fan wars between the Mega and Nandamuri groups, with both sides exchanging accusations and criticism.

In response to Balakrishna’s comments, the All India Chiranjeevi Yuvatha organized an emergency meeting at a hotel near Chiranjeevi Blood Bank in Hyderabad. Mega fans from both Telugu states actively participated and resolved to file police complaints against Balakrishna in more than 300 police stations. They initially planned to register the first case at Jubilee Hills police station, followed by mass complaints across Andhra and Telangana. However, Chiranjeevi personally intervened and urged his fans not to proceed. He explained that filing cases was not in line with their values and warned them against such actions.

Following his advice, the fans dropped their plan and announced their decision to the media. They emphasized that although they condemned Balakrishna’s remarks strongly, they respected Chiranjeevi’s word and stepped back from filing cases. At the same time, they warned that in the future, if anyone insults their favorite hero with false or derogatory statements, they would not remain silent. The controversy has highlighted not just the sensitivity between fan groups but also the influence Chiranjeevi continues to hold over his supporters.
