Vote For A Government That Hears You, Kharge Urges Voters In Kerala, Assam, Puducherry

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has called on voters in Kerala, Assam, and Puducherry to use their right to vote as polling begins across 296 seats in these states. In his appeal, Kharge highlighted several critical issues affecting the citizens of Kerala, especially under the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government, including rising unemployment, financial distress, and growing uncertainty. Addressing the voters on X, he urged them to once again stand up for the progressive values that Kerala is known for. Kharge emphasized that it was essential for citizens to unite, reject division, and vote for a government that listens to their needs and delivers on its promises.

Kharge's address further pointed out that various sections of society, including farmers, plantation workers, youth, and small business owners, have faced significant challenges. He urged these groups to come out in large numbers and express their commitment to social justice and unity. He stated, "Do not let division or distraction weaken that strength. Vote for a government that listens, cares, and delivers."

Turning to Assam, Kharge expressed confidence in the potential for change in the state. He criticized the current state of affairs, alleging that over the past decade, Assam’s social fabric had been weakened due to political exploitation and divisive narratives. He encouraged first-time voters in Assam to participate actively in the election process, stressing that now is the time to defeat the politics of exclusion and division.

In Puducherry, Kharge raised concerns about corruption, unemployment, drug issues, paper leaks, and the alleged misuse of land and resources under the current administration. He appealed to the voters to vote for jobs, safety, and transparent governance. "Use your vote to safeguard your children’s future and restore Puducherry’s progress," Kharge said, urging citizens to vote against corruption and support statehood and honest leadership. This election, Kharge’s message stresses the importance of upholding unity, rejecting divisive politics, and voting for a government that genuinely addresses the concerns of the people.
