5 Lakh Crowd Cheers In Anantapur, But Nara Lokesh Chooses Rescue Ops Over Politics

In what could have been a defining moment in his political journey, Nara Lokesh chose responsibility over applause. At the NDA’s grand “Super Six Super Hit” political event in Anantapur, a massive crowd of over five lakh gathered to cheer for leaders. Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan received thunderous applause as they acknowledged the love from the audience.

But in sharp contrast, Lokesh was absent from the limelight. Instead, he remained in the Real Time Governance (RTG) room at the Secretariat, focusing on a humanitarian mission. While his contemporaries enjoyed the electrifying atmosphere of one of the biggest political gatherings in recent times, Lokesh was tracking the safety of stranded Telugu citizens in Nepal.

Lokesh took charge of coordinating rescue operations for 22 Telugu people who had already been brought back safely, while efforts continued to rescue another 200 still stranded. His involvement highlighted a different kind of leadership — one rooted in action rather than optics.

Political analysts note that this decision reflects a refreshing approach in a landscape where most leaders thrive on public rallies and media visibility. By prioritizing relief over rhetoric, Lokesh is being perceived as a leader who values genuine service above political theatrics.
