He extended gratitude to the three armed forces and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling Operation Sindoor a reawakening of national courage.

The Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindoor in the early hours of May 7, 2025, as a measured and powerful response to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam that killed 25 Indian civilians and one Nepali national. The attack, carried out by Pakistan-backed militants, targeted tourists and deeply shook the nation. In response, India carried out precision airstrikes on multiple terror hubs in Pakistan and PoK, including areas like Muridke, Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad all known for harboring terror groups.
