Salman Khan, one of Bollywood’s most enduring stars, has revealed that he is currently battling multiple serious health conditions, including a brain aneurysm, an arteriovenous malformation (AVM), and trigeminal neuralgia. Despite the gravity of these illnesses, the actor emphasized that he continues to work actively in films and public appearances.
During his appearance on the newly launched season of The Great Indian Kapil Show, Salman surprised audiences by disclosing his health status in a candid conversation with host Kapil Sharma. Addressing personal questions humorously at first, Salman went on to share the physical toll of his ongoing work. He mentioned that he has suffered broken ribs and continues to function while living with a painful nerve condition and life-threatening brain issues.
Salman detailed the challenges of living with trigeminal neuralgia, a condition known for causing excruciating facial pain. He previously revealed this diagnosis in 2017 while promoting his film Tubelight, calling it one of the most painful conditions. He further shocked fans by announcing that he also has a brain aneurysm and an AVM a rare and serious tangle of blood vessels that could lead to hemorrhages or neurological problems if left unmanaged.
Despite these health conditions, the actor made it clear that he remains committed to his career. “Even with all this going on, I’m still working,” he said. He also touched upon the emotional and financial risks associated with relationships at this stage in life, joking about how starting over financially at his age would be difficult if faced with divorce.
This revelation has prompted concern and admiration among fans and industry peers, with many praising his strength and dedication. Salman Khan’s ability to maintain his public life and work commitments while facing severe health issues adds a new dimension to his resilience, both as a person and a performer.
