In a post shared on social media, the embassy expressed its gratitude for the overwhelming support from the Indian public but acknowledged the difficulties in receiving donations through regular banking channels.

The Iranian embassy had earlier shared its State Bank of India account details, urging people to transfer funds electronically. However, donors were encouraged to avoid using platforms like GPay, as technical complications arose, and the embassy is working to resolve the issue.
