Chandrababu Naidu Approves ₹33,000 Cr Projects, 35,000 Jobs Coming

In a decisive move to boost economic development and job creation, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has approved investment proposals worth ₹33,000 crore during the sixth meeting of the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB). The approvals span across 19 major projects and are expected to generate 35,000 new jobs in key sectors such as energy, tourism, IT, and electronics. The meeting, held at the Secretariat, marks a strategic continuation of the government's push for economic acceleration through high-value industrial projects. With this, the total number of SIPB-approved projects now stands at 76, amounting to a staggering ₹4,95,796 crore in committed investments.

The Chief Minister emphasized that this is not just about signing memorandums or making tall claims. He has ordered the creation of live monitoring dashboards to provide real-time updates on project progress and job implementation. These dashboards are meant to ensure transparency and accountability in how the approved investments are executed at the ground level.

Naidu has made it clear that the top administrative leadership must be directly involved in overseeing the performance of these projects. By doing so, he aims to align administrative execution with the promises being made to the public, especially the unemployed youth of Andhra Pradesh. This proactive approach is expected to instill investor confidence while also creating a more structured ecosystem for large-scale industrial investments in the state. The focus areas energy, tourism, electronics, and IT are strategic sectors identified for long-term growth and global competitiveness.

Chandrababu Naidu’s renewed emphasis on governance with measurable outcomes is drawing attention from across the business and political spectrum. His administration's move to blend technology with transparency, using live dashboards and performance tracking systems, could serve as a model for other Indian states aiming for rapid industrialization with accountability. As Andhra Pradesh sets its sights on becoming a preferred destination for global and domestic investors, the coming months will be critical in determining how these approvals translate into real-world outcomes.
