Ceasefire Broken: India Warns Pakistan After LoC Violations Post Operation Sindoor
On May 11, India issued a strong warning to Pakistan following a series of ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC) and the International Border, despite a ceasefire agreement reached earlier that day. Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri stated that the Indian Armed Forces have been instructed to respond firmly to any further violations. This heightened alert comes in the wake of Operation Sindoor, launched by India on May 7, as a counter-strike to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, which resulted in the deaths of 26 civilians.

In the course of Operation Sindoor, Indian forces targeted and destroyed nine terror sites located in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK). Despite these escalations, Pakistan's Information Minister Attaullah Tarar denied any ceasefire violations, dismissing India’s claims as "baseless." As tensions continue to rise, India has reiterated its commitment to national security, maintaining a vigilant stance along the borders and demanding that Pakistan act responsibly to uphold peace and the terms of the ceasefire.
