Alaska Airlines resumed normal flight operations late Sunday night after a critical IT system failure forced a temporary, system-wide ground stop across its entire fleet and that of its subsidiary, Horizon Air. The outage, which occurred around 8 p.m. Pacific Time on July 20, disrupted flight operations for approximately three hours before the ground stop was lifted at 11 p.m. Pacific Time.
