In response to rising food prices, the Indian government has launched Phase-II of retail sales for subsidised wheat flour and rice under the Bharat brand, available at Rs 30 per kg for wheat flour and Rs 34 per kg for rice. These products will be offered in 5kg and 10kg packs through cooperatives like NCCF, Nafed, and Kendriya Bhandar, as well as on e-commerce platforms.
