An IndiGo aircraft operating on the Kuwait–Hyderabad route made an emergency landing at Mumbai Airport on Tuesday morning after authorities received an email warning of a potential bomb threat. Officials said the message, which referred to a “human bomb,” was sent to Hyderabad Airport authorities shortly before the flight was diverted. In a significant move to strengthen international relations and improve connectivity, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced that efforts are underway to establish a direct flight route between Hyderabad and Kitakyushu, a prominent city in Japan. The proposal came during a high-level meeting in Hyderabad on June 2, when Kitakyushu Mayor Kazuhisa Takeuchi and his delegation visited the state to attend the Telangana Formation Day celebrations.
