Get ready for San Ramon’s most anticipated event of the year the Art and Wind Festival, returning this Sunday and Monday with a spectacular lineup of attractions, performances, and family-friendly activities. Taking place at various locations around City Hall and local school fields, the two-day festival is packed with entertainment for all ages, celebrating art, wind, community, and creativity.

The annual festival will showcase fine arts and crafts vendors, three live entertainment stages, puppet shows, professionally choreographed kite flying, free kite-making workshops, two food courts, and a Coast Guard helicopter landing that’s sure to thrill festivalgoers. Interactive zones for kids, sensory-friendly areas, and family amusement rides ensure that there’s something for everyone.

Featured Attractions and Performance Schedule

  • Kite Flying Demonstrations
    Watch high-flying professional kite performers near Field 1 at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. on both Sunday and Monday.

  • Puppet Shows
    Fun for the whole family, puppet shows will be held in the City Hall Rotunda at 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. each day.

  • Kids’ Interactive Zones
    At the Alcosta Promenade and Terrace Room Patio, kids can enjoy free kite-making workshops, face painting, arts and crafts, and more. Rides will be set up in the parking lot near Field 5.

  • Helicopter Landing
    One of the festival’s most exciting features, a Coast Guard helicopter is scheduled to land around 1 p.m. on Sunday at Field 4, next to the Iron Horse Middle School track.

    • Bishop Ranch 3 (2603 Camino Ramon)

    • Bishop Ranch 15 (12647–12677 Alcosta Boulevard)

    • Iron Horse Middle School (12601 Alcosta Boulevard)

  • ADA Parking: Available at San Ramon City Hall and Iron Horse Middle School.

  • Free Bike Valet: Provided by Sports Basement San Ramon. Cycle to 1041 Market Place and receive a 20% discount coupon for store merchandise.
