Allu Arjun Gets GHMC Show-Cause Notice Over Illegal Construction At Jubilee Hills Property

Tollywood star Allu Arjun has found himself in the middle of a civic controversy after the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) issued a show-cause notice over alleged illegal construction at his Jubilee Hills property. The notice, served by GHMC Circle-18 authorities, questions why the illegal structure should not be demolished and has sparked debate over compliance with urban development rules.

The property in question, known as Allu Business Park, was built by the actor and his family around two years ago. Located at Road No. 45 in Jubilee Hills, the multi-purpose building houses the offices of Geetha Arts, Allu Arts-related businesses, and other corporate ventures. The original construction was sanctioned for a plot size of 1,226 square yards, with approval for two cellars and a ground plus four floors (G+4).

However, according to GHMC officials, an unauthorized extension was recently added on the fourth floor, violating the sanctioned plan. Acting on this violation, Circle-18 Deputy Commissioner Sammaiah ordered an inquiry and issued the show-cause notice, asking the owners to explain why the extension should not be removed. If the response is not satisfactory, the illegal portion of the building faces possible demolition.

So far, Allu Arjun and his family have not responded publicly to the notice or the allegations of non-compliance. Civic authorities maintain that the case highlights a larger issue of illegal constructions in upscale areas like Jubilee Hills, where high-profile properties often come under scrutiny for violations of building regulations.

Allu Arjun continues to dominate the box office. His last release, Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule, shattered records by grossing Rs 1,800 crore worldwide, cementing his status as one of Indian cinema’s biggest stars. The actor is now working on a mega sci-fi project with director Atlee, tentatively titled AA22 X A6. The film, produced by Sun Pictures, features Deepika Padukone in the lead role and is touted to be one of the most ambitious films in his career.

While his cinematic journey is scaling new heights, the GHMC notice has added an unexpected twist to Allu Arjun’s off-screen life. With urban development laws being enforced more stringently, the outcome of this case could set an example for property compliance in Hyderabad’s elite neighborhoods.
