Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu to Visit Singapore from July 26 to Attract Global Investments

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is set to embark on a strategic six-day visit to Singapore from July 26 to July 31, 2025, with the aim of attracting major global investments to the state. This visit marks his second foreign tour since the formation of the coalition government, following his earlier international outreach in Davos. The upcoming Singapore tour is poised to play a crucial role in boosting Andhra Pradesh’s image as a prime investment destination on the global stage.

According to a release from the Chief Minister’s Office, the tour is intended to showcase "Brand AP" and highlight the state's new pro-business policies, streamlined ease-of-doing-business initiatives, and major infrastructural advantages. The Chief Minister will emphasize Andhra Pradesh’s 1,053 km coastline, extensive land and water resources, well-developed ports and airports, robust road and rail connectivity, and highly skilled human capital. These features are expected to be central to his pitch to international investors.

During his stay in Singapore, CM Naidu will meet CEOs, senior executives, and industry leaders from across sectors, including port-based development, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, data centers, and fintech. The Chief Minister will also extend personal invitations to global business leaders to attend the Visakhapatnam Investment Summit scheduled for November 2025.

On the first day of his trip, the Chief Minister will attend a special Telugu Diaspora meeting, where he will interact with Telugu-speaking professionals, entrepreneurs, and residents from Singapore and surrounding countries. He will urge the Telugu community to actively participate in Andhra Pradesh’s economic growth by investing in emerging sectors and supporting the government’s P4 initiative (Public-Private-People Partnership) aimed at eradicating poverty and promoting inclusive development.

Over the course of the six-day visit, Naidu’s schedule includes a series of business roundtables focused on the digital economy, artificial intelligence, and fintech infrastructure. A major highlight will be a dedicated business roadshow aimed at encouraging investors to consider Andhra Pradesh as a strategic hub in South Asia. The roadshow will also highlight the seamless integration of policy support, skilled manpower, and modern logistics in the state.

Additionally, the Chief Minister will tour major infrastructure and logistics centers in Singapore to gather insights and explore possibilities for similar scalable models in Andhra Pradesh. The tour reaffirms the government’s commitment to making Andhra Pradesh a global investment hub through international partnerships, advanced technology adoption, and strong public engagement. With this high-profile foreign visit, CM Naidu continues to set a development-oriented tone, actively seeking global cooperation to accelerate industrial growth and economic prosperity in Andhra Pradesh.
