A shocking murder case has surfaced from Satna, adding to a series of disturbing “blue drum” crimes reported in recent times. The incident came to light on Monday when a woman named Asha and her daughter returned home to find their house locked from the outside, while the lights and cooler were still running inside, raising immediate suspicion.

Concern grew when Asha’s 11-year-old son, who had recently completed his Class 5 exams, did not respond. Initially, she suspected that her husband might have taken the boy somewhere, but as time passed and there was no trace of him, she approached the police and filed a complaint. Upon arrival, police broke open the lock and entered the house, only to discover a horrifying scene with blood splatters visible on the walls and a pillow.

A blue plastic drum placed inside the room drew attention when blood was seen seeping from it. When opened, the body of the child was found inside, with his throat slit and covered with clothes in an apparent attempt to hide the crime. The discovery left the family and officials in shock.

Suspicion has fallen on a local laundry shop owner, Mathura Rajak, who is currently absconding. The family alleges that he had been pressuring Asha to marry him and committed the crime in anger after repeated rejection. Asha’s daughter claimed that the accused forcibly attempted to pursue their mother and killed her brother out of revenge.

Police have launched a manhunt, forming multiple teams to trace the accused. The forensic team has collected evidence from the scene, and the body has been sent for post-mortem. Confirming the incident, Shivensh Singh stated that a sharp weapon was used in the murder, though further details will be confirmed after investigation. Authorities said the probe is ongoing and appropriate legal action will follow based on evidence and statements.
