New brown bear cub JJ debuts at Six Flags Wild Safari in New Jersey
A new attraction has arrived at Six Flags Great Adventure, where a 2-month-old brown bear cub named JJ has made his public debut at the park’s Wild Safari. Park officials confirmed that the cub is currently residing in a dedicated habitat alongside his mother, Hollywood, offering visitors an opportunity to observe early-stage wildlife development in a controlled environment.

JJ’s introduction adds to the park’s broader wildlife experience, which features more than 1,200 animals from across the globe. Species housed within the Wild Safari include rhinos, giraffes, elephants, and bison, making it one of the largest drive-through safari parks in the United States. The addition of a young brown bear cub is expected to draw increased interest from families and wildlife enthusiasts visiting the New Jersey attraction.

Guests can view JJ and his mother through two primary experiences: the Wild Safari Base Camp truck tour and the Safari Off-Road Adventure. Both options allow visitors to explore the park’s expansive habitat areas while learning about animal care and conservation efforts supported by the facility.

The debut of JJ comes as Six Flags continues to expand its offerings. The company recently announced a new development within the park known as Shoreline Pier, expected to open in late spring. This new section will introduce boardwalk-themed attractions and food options, enhancing the overall guest experience.

With the addition of JJ and upcoming park expansions, Six Flags Great Adventure continues to position itself as a major destination for both entertainment and wildlife experiences in the United States. Visitors interested in seeing the new cub or exploring the safari can purchase tickets and season passes through the park’s official website.
