Scottsdale Airport Horror: Vince Neil’s Plane in Deadly Incident
Tragic Jet Crash at Scottsdale Airport Involving Vince Neil’s Private Plane
A devastating accident unfolded at Scottsdale Municipal Airport on Monday afternoon when a private jet owned by Motley Crue’s lead singer, Vince Neil, veered off the runway and collided with a parked aircraft.

Neil Was Not on Board
The Learjet 35A, registered to Neil, suffered a landing gear failure, causing it to crash into a stationary Gulfstream G-200. Fortunately, Vince Neil was not on the flight, but the impact proved fatal for one person, while several others sustained injuries.

Casualties & Injuries
Emergency responders confirmed that one individual was pronounced dead at the scene, with two others rushed to trauma centers in critical condition. Another passenger remains hospitalized in stable condition, while a fifth person refused medical treatment.

Motley Crue & Rock Community Respond
Motley Crue initially shared a post stating the pilot had died and that Neil’s girlfriend and her friend were injured but expected to recover. The post was later deleted and replaced with a more official statement.
Bret Michaels, frontman of Poison and a close friend of Neil, expressed his relief that Neil was unharmed while extending his condolences to those affected.

Ongoing Investigation
Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into the crash, with Jet Pros, the owner of the parked Gulfstream, pledging full cooperation. Airport officials, alongside the FAA and NTSB, will work to determine the cause of the accident.

Vince Neil’s attorney released a statement thanking first responders for their swift action, adding that Neil’s thoughts and prayers are with all those involved in the tragedy.
