Vijay Heads to Chennai Stadium for Tamil Nadu CM Swearing-In Ceremony

Vijay left his Chennai residence on Sunday morning to attend his swearing-in ceremony as the new Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The oath-taking event is being held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai amid massive celebrations by supporters and party workers.

The Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam chief is set to take oath along with members of his first cabinet after receiving the Governor’s approval to form the government. Several political leaders, party members, and celebrities are expected to attend the ceremony.

Actor Trisha Krishnan is also expected to attend the event. Before leaving her residence in Chennai, Trisha briefly reacted to reporters and said she was “looking forward” to the historic occasion. Tight security arrangements have been put in place around the stadium as thousands of supporters gathered near the venue ahead of the ceremony.
