JC Prabhakar Reddy Regrets Faction Politics, Calls for Peace

TDP senior leader and former MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy has spoken about his past involvement in faction politics, expressing regret over the violence and urging people in Anantapur district to stay away from political conflicts.

Speaking in Yellanur mandal, Prabhakar Reddy acknowledged that he had encouraged factional politics in the past and said he now wanted to distance himself from such practices. He said faction-related violence had claimed lives and caused lasting damage to several families in the region.

JC Prabhakar Reddy Expresses Regret Over Past

Prabhakar Reddy said he takes responsibility for mistakes committed during the period when faction politics played a prominent role in parts of Anantapur district. He appealed to people to forgive him and said his priority now was peace and development.

The TDP leader said he felt saddened when reflecting on the consequences of factional conflicts. He urged residents not to become involved in political disputes or allow themselves to be drawn into confrontations between rival groups.

His remarks mark a notable shift in tone as he publicly acknowledged the consequences associated with factional rivalries and called on people to avoid violence.

Political Battles Should Be Fought Through Elections

Prabhakar Reddy also appealed to political leaders to resolve their differences democratically rather than involving ordinary people in disputes.

He said political leaders should contest elections, seek public support and accept the democratic verdict instead of encouraging confrontations among their supporters.

According to Prabhakar Reddy, political disagreements should remain political and should never develop into personal hostility that affects families and communities.

JC Cautions People About Political Rivalries

During his address, Prabhakar Reddy also made political remarks concerning former YSRCP MLA Kethireddy Peddareddy and YSRCP leader Bhogati Narayana Reddy.

He cautioned people in Yellanur about political developments involving the two leaders. While mentioning that Narayana Reddy was personally close to him, Prabhakar Reddy said personal relationships and political considerations should be treated separately.

His comments come amid continuing political competition between TDP and YSRCP leaders in the Anantapur region.

Calls for Education, Peace and Development

Prabhakar Reddy urged families to concentrate on their children's education and future rather than becoming caught up in factional rivalries.

He said communities would benefit more from focusing on development, education and better opportunities instead of political conflicts. He also expressed his intention to work on local development and said he would try to ensure that four tanks in the area were filled with water if given an opportunity.

Prabhakar Reddy's remarks have attracted attention because of his acknowledgement of his past role in faction politics. His message focused on moving away from political violence and encouraging democratic competition, education, peace and development in the region.
