The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is inviting the community to its Safety and Recruitment Fair this Saturday at the Dublin Area headquarters. The event will give residents a chance to explore CHP’s advanced operations, ask questions about public safety, and learn more about career opportunities with the agency.
A highlight of the fair will be the display of one of only two CHP mobile command centers, a state-of-the-art mobile headquarters used during major incidents. Visitors will also be able to meet CHP’s motor patrol officers and interact with a trained CHP police dog.
In addition to showcasing its fleet and operations, the CHP will provide safety resources to families and individuals. Public Safety Dispatchers will be available to explain CHP’s emergency response systems, while trained staff will answer questions about child passenger safety. Attendees can also have their child safety seats inspected to ensure they are properly installed.
The free, family-friendly event will take place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CHP Dublin Area headquarters, located at 4999 Gleason Drive. CHP encourages all members of the community to attend, whether to learn about public safety, explore recruitment opportunities, or simply connect with local law enforcement.
