
The 2025 All-District 26-6A baseball team has been officially announced, highlighting the best high school baseball talent from the Austin area. Voted on by district coaches, the honors spotlight athletes who displayed exceptional performances throughout the season in one of Texas’ most competitive 6A baseball districts.
Dripping Springs center fielder Taylor Tracey leads the list as the district’s Most Valuable Player after a standout season, both offensively and defensively. Lake Travis also had a dominant presence in this year’s honors. Wyatt Bickers earned Offensive Player of the Year, while Cooper Webb claimed Pitcher of the Year. Westlake's Austin Knox took home the Defensive Player of the Year award for his consistent excellence in the field. Newcomers Devin Loane of Bowie and Jason Steele of Dripping Springs shared the Newcomer of the Year title.
First and Second Team Standouts
Among the first-team honorees, Dripping Springs, Lake Travis, Westlake, and Bowie players dominated selections. Pitchers Louis Olmeda and Daniel Soto (Bowie), Cooper Rummel (Dripping Springs), Luke McBride (Lake Travis), and Hayes Brodhead (Westlake) were recognized for their mound presence. Offensively, players like Yanuell Molina (Lake Travis), Tristan Ciechanowicz (Dripping Springs), and outfielders CJ Hansford and Reid Kilgo (Lake Travis) led the way.
Second-team selections featured emerging talent, with pitchers like Ayden De Leon (Akins), Jayden Besa (Austin High), and Parker Saltsman (Westlake) showing promise. Notable hitters included Hudson Byrd (Westlake) behind the plate and outfielders Tye Schreiber (Austin High) and Jack Tyndall (Dripping Springs).
Numerous athletes were acknowledged as honorable mentions, with names like Harrison Vallo (Dripping Springs), Cole Rhame (Lake Travis), and Rylan Middlebrook (Westlake) illustrating the depth and future potential of the district. Bowie, Del Valle, and Austin High also contributed several players across all levels, further emphasizing the competitive nature of the district. As the postseason continues and underclassmen look to build on breakout seasons, the 2025 All-District 26-6A list not only celebrates this year’s achievements but also sets the stage for future Texas high school baseball stars.
