Pleasanton is revving up for a weekend packed with horsepower and high-flying tricks as Main Street transforms into a hub of automotive and stunt excitement. On Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., over 200 classic and hot rod cars will line Main Street for the annual Hot Rod Row, part of the city’s First Weekends on Main celebration.
Main Street will be closed to all vehicle traffic starting Friday at 4 p.m. and will remain pedestrian-only until Sunday at 10 p.m., allowing visitors to safely stroll and admire the vintage craftsmanship up close. Alongside the car displays, the event will feature several local bands performing live music, adding a festive soundtrack to the downtown celebration.
Thrill-seekers and families alike can catch the return of the BMX Bike Fest, featuring gravity-defying stunts from top-tier BMX riders. Two high-energy stunt shows will take place at noon and 2 p.m. on a specially installed ramp on Main Street. Last year’s shows drew big crowds, and this year promises even more excitement.
The weekend serves as a prelude to another major event on the car enthusiast’s calendar: the Porsches on Main exhibition, scheduled for August 2, which will showcase more than 200 classic and modern Porsche vehicles. Whether you're a fan of chrome classics, adrenaline-filled stunts, or just looking for a fun day out in Pleasanton, this Saturday’s events promise entertainment for all ages in the heart of the city.
