Two years of NDA in Andhra: Welfare push meets development agenda

The NDA government in Andhra Pradesh is marking two years in power with a major Bahiranga Sabha in Tirupati, bringing Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and alliance leaders into the spotlight. The public meeting is expected to highlight the government’s welfare schemes, development programmes, job creation efforts and investment push since taking office.

The Tirupati Sabha is likely to become a key political platform for the ruling alliance to present its two-year report card before the public. Programmes such as NTR Bharosa pensions, Anna Canteens, free RTC bus travel for women, Mega DSC recruitment, constable job notifications and industrial investment proposals are expected to be projected as major achievements of the NDA government.

For Chandrababu Naidu, the event is an opportunity to underline his administration’s focus on rebuilding Andhra Pradesh’s finances while continuing welfare support. For Pawan Kalyan, the Sabha offers a chance to strengthen Jana Sena’s role within the alliance and connect directly with supporters on governance, accountability and public welfare.

The meeting also carries political importance ahead of the next phase of governance. The alliance will need to maintain coordination between TDP, Jana Sena and BJP while delivering visible results across jobs, infrastructure, welfare and regional development. The Tirupati Bahiranga Sabha is expected to set the tone for the NDA’s future roadmap and its message for the 2029 Assembly elections.
