The makers of Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar's Thunivu have unveiled the trailer of the film a short while ago and it looks interesting. But there's one troubling aspect in terms of visual optic. 

The trailer is an action-packed one and it is loaded with action shots and elevation sequences highlighting Ajith. There's a whole lot of action associated with the same. 

But by the looks of it, the trailer implies that Thunivu has an overwhelming vibe of Netflix's blockbuster web series, Money Heist. There's a lot of action that happens inside a bank, much like the Netflix original series. 

In the OTT era, any sort of duplication will be identified immediately and will come back to haunt. The same could be the case with Thunivu now but it has to be seen how the common audience react to the same. 

The makers are yet to announce the theatrical release date. It is confirmed to release this Sankranthi but the release date is yet to be announced. It is rumored that 12th January is the proposed release date that's in contention.
