The film is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual directed by the critically acclaimed filmmaker and cinematographer Vijay Milton and produced by Rough Note Production.
Aari, who gained immense popularity after winning Bigg Boss and starring in memorable roles in Nedunchalai and Maya, will now be seen in a cop avatar offering fans a completely new side of his acting range. His role in the yet-to-be-titled project is said to be deeply layered, showing the emotional evolution of a man who rises from a constable to a respected officer. This character arc reflects Vijay Milton's signature style of showcasing underdog stories that rise against the odds.
Speaking about Aari’s role, director Vijay Milton said, “Aari has the kind of silent fire that suits this character perfectly. This isn’t just another cop role it’s a layered, emotionally-driven character, and Aari was our natural choice.” Known for his success with character-driven stories like Goli Soda, Vijay Milton is expected to bring the same depth and authenticity to this new narrative.
The film also marks a major career moment for Telugu actor Raj Tarun, who will be making his Tamil debut with this project. Meanwhile, music composer Paal Dabba is stepping in front of the camera for the first time, expanding the film’s fresh and diverse ensemble cast. The untitled film is being positioned as a gritty and grounded drama rooted in real emotions, social themes, and relatable characters. It promises to blend mass appeal with strong storytelling, a balance that Vijay Milton has mastered over the years.
The official title of the film will be unveiled on June 15, adding to the growing excitement among fans and industry watchers.
