Hero Karthi who is in riding high with consecutive hits is presently doing an out-and-out adventurous thriller Japan directed by Raju Murugan of Joker fame. Produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu under Dream Warrior Pictures, Japan marks Karthi's 25th film.
Wishing Karthi on his birthday an intro glimpse of his character from the movie is unveiled. Karthi is introduced as Japan who seems to be playing a peculiar character. Different people have different opinions about him. He is a hero, comedian, and villain for three different people.
Karthi appeared in a different look with curly hair in the glimpse and it was hilarious. As the glimpse assures, Japan is going to offer an adventurous ride in cinemas. As announced by the makers, Japan will hit the screens for Diwali, this year.
Anu Emmanuel is paired opposite Karthi for the first time. Actor Sunil will be seen in a vital role in the movie that marks the acting debut of popular cinematographer Vijay Milton.
GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music for the film. Philomin Raj is in charge of the editing. Vinesh Banglan, the National Award-winning production designer (Kammarasambhavam) is taking care of the production design for Japan.
